Our GSE staff consists of talented coaches who coach at the collegiate or varsity level. We come prepared with a detailed curriculum for each session. All logistics and details are thought out well in advance by Directors Liz Cook and Meg Clements so that coaches can focus on being the most efficient coaches possible. We want our players by the end of the Fall season to have mastered a skill set that will put them in a position to be successful on the field come fall season.

These sessions are for all players... for offensive players looking to add variation to their shooting style but also for defenders to learn footwork, body positioning, loose ball techniques and checking. Goalies are encouraged to attend our Defense Nation as well. Our shooting and dodging clinics will focus on the most challenging concepts of shooting that is necessary at the high school and collegiate levels. We will review and teach many different types of shots including sidearm shooting, shooting low to high, behind the backs, backhanded twizzler shots. Players will try new things and find out many different ways to score goals. The most important skill as a defender is FOOTWORK, our GSE Defense nation sessions will focus primarily on footwork, agility and the proper approach techniques. We will also focus on enhancing each player's 1v1 defense from all areas of the 8 meter. Goalie instruction will focus on position fundamentals, stance, stick work, clearing, footwork and hand-eye coordination. Each goalie will also have the opportunity to get in the goal and see lots of shots, because the key to success in cage is seeing shots. $100 to attend both sessions.
